ADASTRA FILMS AT 71st CANNES FILM FESTIVAL, FRANCE

We were very happy & proud to attend on May 9th, 2018, during the 71st Cannes Film Festival, the 10th Years Anniversary of ADASTRA FILMS. In 2008, Renaud Coutaudier contributed to Sébastien Aubert & David Guiraud first film budget, as Executive Producer for "Le Tonneaux des Danaïdes" short film.

10 years later, Adastra Films will release on July 11th, 2018, an 81' Narrative Feature - THE STRANGE ONES (Trailer here).

Synopsis: In "The Strange Ones", mysterious events surround two travelers as they make their way across a remote American landscape. On the surface all seems normal, but what appears to be a simple vacation soon gives way to a dark and complex web of secrets.

Founded in 2008 by Sébastien Aubert & David Guiraud, ADASTRA FILMS is a film company based in Cannes, France. The company has produced the feature film "Brides" (awarded at the Berlinale 2014), "The Strange Ones" (official competition at SXSW 2017 and Jury Award at Champs Elysées Film Festival 2017) and 16 short films, including 4 selections at Sundance. Today ADASTRA FILMS gathers more than 1500 selections and 300 festival awards worldwide. The company is awarded Best Emerging Producer by France Télévisions in 2014 and one of the « Futurs Leaders de la production » by Screen Daily magazine during Cannes Film Festival 2015.
